Our Mission
At X Marks Your Spot, our mission goes beyond creating clothing; we are building a community. A community of warriors who share a common understanding: We are more than our past. We are the sum of our resilience, our grit, and our unwavering determination to never be broken.
We strive to unite people who have experienced their own battles, and through our shared strength, show the world that together, we are unstoppable. The clothes we create are not just about style; they are about substance. Each design, each piece, is a reflection of the inner power that we all carry within us. When you wear X Marks Your Spot, you’re not just wearing a brand—you’re making a statement. A statement that no matter the obstacles, no matter the pain, you are more than capable of rising above.

Hey, I’m Dylan. My mission is simple but powerful: to positively impact 1,000,000 lives. I’m fueled by a deep and unwavering passion for serving others, particularly those who’ve faced hardship and adversity. Having walked through my own struggles, I understand what it feels like to be lost, broken, and searching for hope. That’s why I’m dedicated to helping others find their strength, rediscover their purpose, and transform their pain into power. Whether through sharing my story, offering support, or creating spaces for healing, my goal is to be a catalyst for change in the lives of those who need it most. Every person I reach is one step closer to making the world a better place—one life at a time.

I’m here today because I survived what I never thought I could. On the outside, it looked like I had it all—five state championships, good grades, and a tons of friends. But inside, I was battling pain that no one could see. As a child, I endured trauma that left deep scars. I struggled for years with depression, feelings of worthlessness, and thoughts of giving up. At my lowest, I turned to self-harm as a way to cope, believing I deserved to hurt.
But through it all, I kept fighting. I didn’t let my struggles define me. Instead, I learned that strength doesn’t come from avoiding pain—it comes from facing it, learning from it, and rising from it. I also grappled with my identity, being adopted and trying to understand where I belonged in the world. It wasn’t easy, but in accepting my past, I found my power and purpose.
My X is a symbol of everything I’ve overcome—the pain, the scars, the battles I thought would break me. It’s a reminder that no matter how many times life knocks you down, you can always rise again, stronger than before.
I want others to know that they are not defined by their trauma or struggles. We are defined by how we rise from them. No matter what you’ve faced, you are stronger than you think. Keep pushing, because you are unstoppable.
